By ---- son of N---- son of ʿbd and he pastured at the water course during the winter rains the year the lineage of Whbʾl kept far from h- bḫrt so, {O} {Lt}, may he be secure, and he grieved for Ḫlṣ, the son of his paternal uncle, whom the people of Ṭyʾ had killed and his kinsman {ʾqwm} so, O Lt, let there be retribution for the blood of the murdered and for {ġ}---ʾs¹ and the writing is by him of the lineage of ʿwḏ, so, O Lt, blind him who would efface

Vandalism has obliterated the author's name. For the interpretation of brʾ mn compare Arabic bariʾa min "he removed himself from X" (Lane 178 b). The exact sense of the following word h-bḫrt is unclear. It is, faux de mieux, possible to interpret it as a toponym.
