Translation: By ʾnʿm and tdy O Lt and Ds²r and Bʿls¹mn and {Gdḥrt} and Gdnbṭ and Gdwhbʾl and every deity in the heavens {f}nʿh{n}hrbmbfy and blindness and dumbness and lameness to whoever scratches out this inscription and security for whoever reads [it] aloud

Interpretation

Commentary: Unfortunately, the photograph is too bad to be of any use and the copy is also very bad. It is possible that the h after tdy (if that is the correct reading) is not the vocative particle as read here, but the 3rd person enclitic pronoun referring to the author, assuming that tdy is a verb and that what follows until the curse, describes the actions of the deities. But unfortunately there is no way of telling unless the original stone is found. The list of deities is very interesting and it is frustrating that the divine name after gdḥr[t] cannot be read completely. The deity gd-ḥrt, presumably "Gd of the ḥarrah", is known from AWS 313 and 314 and BES17 251. The expression w kll ʾlh b- h- s¹my has not been found before in Safaitic.
