Interpretation
- Commentary
- The author uses both forms of the dative preposition l- and ʾl, and does not separate individuals for whom he longs with the conjunction w, except in the case of ḍr{r}-h. The name s²zḏt is unattested but it is clear on the rock. Safaitic ḏrr can perhaps be connected to Arabic ḏurriyyah 'children, offspring'
