OCIANA
Translation
By Mnʾt son of ʿḏ son of Ġṯṯ and he kept watch the year of the war of the ʾl ʿwḏ and the ʾl Ṣbḥ and so O Ds²r [grant] security and booty

Interpretation

SIJ 59: ġṯ for ġṯṯ. JSafN p. 84 note 13: gnʾt for {m}nʾt. MNH p. 334 and n. 202: on s¹nt ḥrbt ʾl ʿwḏ ʾl ṣbḥ. MNBS p. 111 n. 68: on Knauf and conflicts with the Nabataeans. al-Jallad 2015: 281: By {Mnʾt} son of ʿḏ son of Gṯṯ and he stood guard the year the lineage of ʿwḏ waged war against the lineage of Ṣbḥ, so, O Ds²r, let there be security and spoil.
Commentary
The second letter is invisible on the photograph and could be m or g on Harding's copy. The third name is clearly ġṯṯ on the photograph. Winnett read ḥrb(t) because Harding's original copy has ḥrbh though this passage is only partly visible on the published version. However the t is clear on the photograph with a small much shallower line above it which is what confused Harding.
