- Commentary
- The letter after gyz is not clear on the photograph but does not seem to have a cross-stroke which is presumably why Winnett marked his w as doubtful. It seems more likely that it is a bn in which the b and n have been joined as is very common. For mṭy meaning "riding beasts", "mounts" compare Arabic matiyy (plural of matiyyah "riding beast") (Hava 726).
