Interpretation
- Commentary
- The third letter could be a ʾ. The first name is previously unattested and could be related to Ar. misḫafa "iron shovel" though this does not seem to be very likely. The word which appears here as ẓb is normally written ẓby in Safaitic but there is no trace of a y on the photograph. The inscription is written around a drawing of a gazelle [KhU 40 d].
