Interpretation
- Commentary
- The text is enclosed in a thinly scratched cartouche along one edge of which a modern Arabic graffito has been scratched. The second name has not been found before but must be complete since there is no space for another letter between the w and the cartouche. However ʾṯy is attested and the alternation of w and y is a known feature of Safaitic see for instance rḍw / rḍy and s²tw (CSNS 324) as compared with the more usual s²ty.
