- Transliteration
- l ġr bn nm bn gn h- ʿṣh
- Translation
- By Ġr son of Nm son of Gn h ʿṣh
Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- SIT: h ʾṣh "the staff". JMAA VIII p. 7: ġṯ for ġr; the end bn gnhʿ ṣh "son of Gnhʿ. Silence!".
- Commentary
- JMAA VIII probably reads the third letter as a ṯ because the arms of the letter are slightly thickened lines but since the horizontal line is a curve and there is no evidence of circles at the end SIT's reading is most likely justified.
