Translation
S²mth and Fht and S¹hmh and Ḥ---- and ʾrs²h and Hqs¹m son of Fhd and Hnfy son of ʿḏy and Rtʾl and Hqs¹m son of Zdlh and Hnfy son of Mʿnlh were at the point of reaching the {small black hill}

Interpretation

Commentary
For s²rfw perhaps compare Arabic šārafa ʿalay-hi "he was on the point of reaching it" (Lane 1536c) with b- instead of ʿalā. For qrt compare Arabic qārah "a small mountain separate from other mountains", "a small black, isolated mountain" (Lane 1863-1893: 2574b).
