- TEXT Line 1. Abū l-Ḥasan: ʾṭll rather than ʾẓll. TRANSLATION Lines 1–2. ʾẓll, Stiehl: '(he) took care of the awning'; Al-Qudrah: '(he) constructed (the awning)'; Sima: '(he) covered (the subterranean water-channel) '; Farès-Drappeau: '(he) offered (the sacrifice)'. Line 2. b- khl, Stiehl followed by Sima: 'by his abilities'; Al-Qudrah: 'professionally'; Abū l-Ḥasan: 'in the month Khl'; bʿd, Sima: 'in the direction of'; nḫl -h, Farès-Drappeau: 'his date harvest'. Line 3. dṯʾ, Stiehl followed by Al-Qudrah, Abū l-Ḥasan and Farès-Drappeau: 'the spring harvest'; Sima: '[his] spring field'. Lines 3–4. ʾḫrt -h, Farès-Drappeau: 'he guided him'. - Commentary
- The inscription is in relief. Lines 4–5. The mason clearly ran out of space at the end of line 4 and so had to incise the last three letters in a small hollow just above the beginning of U 010.
