DISCUSSION: Hidalgo-Chacón Díez 2014: 19, for the place name Ḏṯʿʿl. Hidalgo-Chacón Díez 2016: 128, for the divine name Ḏġbt.
Commentary
The fact that the letter-forms are similar in all six lines (compare the d in lines 3 and 6), suggests that the personal name in line 6 belongs to this inscription, even though it appears out of place. Line 3. The verb ʾẓllt means "she performed the ẓll-ceremony", the exact nature of which we do not know. Usually, but not always, this verb is followed by the noun h-ẓll meaning "the ẓll-ceremony". Thus, ʾẓllt and ʾẓllt h-ẓll both mean "she performed the ẓll-ceremony".
