- TEXT Jaussen & Savignac: ṣʿf ʾby---- for ṣ----l b ṣby; van den Branden: ṣlmʿf ṣby for ṣ----l b ṣby.
- Commentary
- Only the end is visible on the photograph of Esk. 44, and it is not read by Eskoubi.
- Associated Signs
- At the beginning of the text there is the sign like at Taymanitic b with a short diagonal line rising internally from the foot of the left vertical. There is a similar sign at the beginning of JSTham 497. Cf. JSTham 514 and 521 where a similar sign is followed on the left by a straight vertical stroke.
