BRCM 4.2

Text Information

Siglum
BRCM 4.2
Transliteration
l ḥglt w l--h ʾ- gml
Translation
By Ḥglt and by him is [the drawing of] the camel

Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus
Not read in BRCM which simply (and mistakenly) says "the same text [as BRCM 4.1] is repeated with a fine line" (p. 227)
Commentary
This text is carved very lightly between BRCM 4.1 and the female figure. It is interesting that the same author in adjacent inscriptions uses the rarer form of the definite article ʾ- here but the more common h- (assimilated to the pronominal suffix (-h) immediately before it) in BRCM 4.1. A photograph of this stone was also published in Bikai 2005: 5.
