Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- TEXT Jaussen & Savignac followed by van den Branden and Eskoubi: rʿwb rather than rʿḍb [dot].
- Commentary
- The letters after kkb (only three of which are visible on Eskoubi's photograph) are slightly higher and seem darker on the photograph, but this is probably because of a fold in the rock.
- Associated Signs
- Around the beginning of the text there are four signs. (1) Above is a Taymanitic b with a small horizontal line protruding to the left from the top and a dot next to the mid point of the left leg. (2) Just to the right of the beginning and slightly higher is a large Safaitic z. (3). Below the first two letters is a cross with a V tilted slightly to the left attached to the top. (4) to the left of (3) a crescent enclosing a circle tilted slightly to the left.
