Transliteration
l zhrn bn ys¹lm w bny ʿl- ġṯ ʾ- ʾnfs¹ w wgm f h lt fṣy l- ḏ s¹ʾr
Translation
By Zhrn son of Ys¹lm and he built for Ġṯ the gravestones and he grieved [for him]. So, O Lt [grant] deliverance for whoever leaves [the inscription] untouched

Interpretation

Commentary
Note the relatively rare definite article ʾ- (see Al-Jallad 2015: 16–17).

Provenance
The inscription was photographed in 1995 by Sabri Abbadi who gives the co-ordinates as Lat 32.183519 Long 37.241817. It was photographed again, independently at another date by Hussein Al Qudrah, Mahdi Alzoubi or Sulṭān Al-Maanī who give the co-ordinates as Lat 32.105692 and Long 37.260832
