Note that the only Wādī al-Miyāh known to us is some 190 km east of Palmyra, near the Euphrates (Lat 34.7253 Long. 40.3025), while the only ʿUwayriḍ we can find is some 90 km south-east of Palmyra (Lat. 34.1669 Long. 39.1797) 34 10 01
