Translation
By S¹ʿd son of ʿḏ son of ʿwḏn son of S¹ʾr of the lineage of Qs²m and the people of Ds²r returned the riding animals

Interpretation

Commentary
As LP comments "the people of Dusares (Δουσαρηνοί) can be only the Nabataeans" (p. 181). He also suggests that ʾl here could be the preposition ʾl- so "he brought back the mounts to Dusares", but this seems to us less likely. For mṭy meaning "riding beasts", "mounts" compare Arabic maṭiyy (plural of maṭiyyah "riding beast").

Unfortunately, the Safaitic Epigraphic Survey Programme was unable to locate Ṣanāyim al-Gharz and it does not appear in Geonames
