OCIANA
Translation
By Ẓnʾl son of Mġny son of Nʿmn son of Mtn son of Nqm son of S¹wr and {he stopped briefly} for the sake of the camels being afraid (and) tʾmr. So {O} {Lt} grant vengeance on whoever committed the act requiring vengeance and blind whoever scratches out this inscription

Interpretation

Commentary
For ḫyf we would suggest comparing Classical Arabic ḫāʾif "afraid" (Lane 824b). The verb varies between ḫwf and ḫyf in Safaitic (see Al-Jallad & Jaworska in press under ḫwf). We have not been able to suggest a meaning for tʾmr in this context.
