Commentary
Jar, 59 cm. high, with an inscription incised on the shoulder after firing (Sass 1991: 35). The letter l is incised above the letter b and the letter ḥ above the letter y. The jar is from the late eighth century and it was considered as proto-Dedanite by Albright (1952: 44).
