Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- TEXT Livingstone et al.: two lines, 1. ----b(?) 2. gbs¹ ʾl ʾ{s¹} rather than gbs¹ ʾl ----{s¹}. It is difficult to see on the photograph how this is achieved. The final letter is also not certain. DISCUSSION Livingstone et al. (1983: 113) commented: "The lām is partly superimposed on the second alif. S¹ʾl could mean <<he questioned>>, but the significance of the letters is most uncertain".
