Transliteration
l ʿwḏ bn ḥnn bn ḫlf ḏ- ʾl qmr w mṭy f h lt ġnmt w s¹lm w ʿwr ḏ- ḫbl h- ḫṭṭ
Translation
By {ʿwḏ} {son of} Ḥnn {son of} Ḫlf of the lineage of Qmr and he was travelling quickly and O Lt [grant] plunder and security and blind him who damages the inscription

Interpretation

Provenance
Note that Winnett says that SIJ 840–841 (which he refers to by the copy numbers T 134–135) "came from a ridge which borders the road leaving the tell" (1957: 93). The stone carrying the inscriptions was rediscovered by the Badia Epigraphic Survey 2015 at the eastern foot of Tell al-ʿAbd.
