Interpretation

ZeGA 14: w wgd [[ʾ]]ṯr gs² -h f ngʿ "and he found the remains of his army and longed [for it]"
Commentary
The first two letters are missing from the photograph and have been read from the copy. The author wrote a second d after wgd and then scratched lightly over the loop and changed the letter to an ʾ by adding two prongs.
