Interpretation
- Commentary
- The inscription is on a small piece of basalt which is chipped at one end. The other faces are not inscribed. Note that the "normal" Safaitic form of ḏ and ḍ are used in this text in contrast to Madaba Museum Saf 2 where ḏ is hooked and ḍ takes the form of two concentric circles, as in Hismaic. We can find no interpretation for the letters following ḍf.
