Translation
By ʿbd son of {Ṣrmt} son of Ḥny and grieved for Mʿn who been struck down by Fate and for Rʾft

Interpretation

Commentary
See the commentaries to BRenv.J 1 and 15. This text is in incised letters, running parallel with 16 and 17. The final letter of the second name is more like a ḫ than a t.

Provenance
An outcrop and cairn 1.2 km east of the water-tower at Biʾr al-Ruṣayʿī, on the Rushayda–Zalaf road, approximately 30 m south of the road, between the road and Wādī Shām.
