Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- HaNSC 31: trḥ rġm mny "he died unwillingly" for "who had perished struck down by Fate"
- Commentary
- Safaitic grb is probably related to Arabic ǧarab "scabies" or it could perhaps be the verbal noun of ǧariba "to become mangy; to have scabies". Safaitic gʿ is surely comparable to Arabic ǧawʿ "hunger, starvation".
