Interpretation

Commentary
{l}: The apparent lam auctoris is much shorter than one would expect and looks like a n. Next to the l, outside of the cartouche, are what appear to be a hammered n and a t. Given that they are outside of the cartouche and of a different method of carving to the inscription, one would argue that they are extraneous marks. ʾṯʿ{l}: There seems to be a small semicircle in the middle of the l that makes it look like a long d. The y of lḥyt is touching a b from BES20 51.
