Interpretation
- Commentary
- ʾʾ{s¹}{d}: The two final letters of the name are obscured by very thinly incised lines forming an oval (making the d look like a q) and running across the s¹. There are also other thin lines below the oval. However, the s¹ and the d themselves are carved in thicker lines and so can be made out with little difficulty. It seems that the author of this inscription is the brother of BES20 54, each having a variation on the name ʾs¹d.
