Interpretation

Commentary
m{ʿ}y: Two possible readings of this name are mʿy or ms¹y, depending upon how one reads the various thinner and thicker lines between the m and the y. For the reading of mʿy, there seems to be a small diamond shape between the letters that resembles a ʿ. An alternative reading of this shape would read the two thicker lines as an upside-down s¹ and discount the thinner circle around it as extraneous. {ḥ}ẓ: The first letter looks like a ḏ as the stem is longer than one would usually expect from a ḥ. Given that, a name of "ḏẓ" would be very unlikely.
