Interpretation

Commentary: The text is difficult to read due to heavy damage across the stone. ʾ{m}{l}: The second letter seems to be an angular m, but one cannot see the central portion due do damage, so is uncertain. The following letter is a clear line with a slight bend at the bottom. Whilst the lam auctoris does not have a slight curve at one end like this letter, one would read it as a l as there is no sign of a curve on the other end, which would form a r. {ʿ}{d}{l}: The first letter seems to be a ʿ that is not joined at the top. The second letter appears to be a ẖ with a large curved bottom fork and a short straight top one. The combination of ʿ and ẖ would be quite unlikely, so this letter may be a d. The upper half of the letter is obscured by damage. Additionally, there seems to be a thick line from the centre of the cross linking it to the following letter. One would argue this is damage as it is much thicker than the rest of the inscription. The final letter seems to be a long straight line. The reading given is uncertain due to the damage in the centre of the letter and the aforementioned thick line.
