l nhr bn ṣyd w wgd s¹fr tm w ʾb -h f ngʿ
Translation
By Nhr son of Ṣyd and he found the writing of Tm and of his father and so he grieved in pain

Interpretation

Commentary
BES20 88 is very similar to this inscription but is by a different author. The author of BES20 88 also has a father called Ṣyd and found the inscription of somebody called Tm. The author of BES20 89, which seems to be at the same site as BES20 87 and 88, is named Tm.
