Interpretation
- Commentary
- r{g}m: The apparent g is not connected at the bottom and possibly not at the top of the letter. The letter looks more like a combination of r and l, but a name of rrlm would be impossible. The stone bears seven inscriptions by brothers, all sons of ḥrs¹. BES20 123 is by an author called ḥrs¹, possibly the father of the seven brothers. The brothers' inscriptions are all scratched and the possible father's is hammered.
