Interpretation

Commentary
{r}{b}{y}: The first two letters are much fainter than the rest of the inscription and the lines seem to be slightly thicker. The stone bears seven inscriptions by brothers, all sons of ḥrs¹. BES20 123 is by an author called ḥrs¹, possibly the father of the seven brothers. The brothers' inscriptions are all scratched and the possible father's is hammered.
