- By Ms¹kʾl son of ʾtm son of Ẓʿn son of Ḥg and he longed for Ḥbb and O Lt [inflict] ejection from the grave on whoever would scratch out [the inscription]

- Commentary
- Below MA 4. The beginning and the middle of the text are not visible on the MA photograph and the authors apparently did not photograph the face on which MA 5 is carved. Fortunately, however, the stone was brought to Al-Mafraq Museum (registration no. 63) where this text was recorded. Ḥbb could of course also mean "a loved one".
