- Translation
- By ʾnʿm son of ʿlm of the lineage of Ḥẓy and he spent the dry season ʿl- {g}{n}f w ʿl- ḥdd w tḫwf and so {O} Lt [grant] security and deliver from {despair}
Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- KhBG 345: "grf" for "{g}{n}f" and "fṣy m rʾ -h" at the end. " wa qayyaẓa ʿalæ {grf} wa ʿalæ {ḥdd} wa ḫæfa" and the end "sallam¡ allaḏ¡ ræhu"
- Commentary
- The letter after the first occurrence of ʿl- is a rather small circle and the following letter is more like a n than a r. The final letter has the appearance of a h but it seems most likely that a ṣ should be restored.
