Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus
King (1990: 179) commented: "On the right side of the rock. The third letter is slightly bent. The text runs down from between the legs of a drawing of a camel which was probably inscribed by ʾs²ṣr, see the commentary on Adr 4 and Ch.4.B.2. for this formula used with drawings". TRANSLATION ḫṭṭ, King: "[the] inscriber".
