Interpretation

Commentary
The middle letter of the second name was incised in the form of a k but then an extra line was hammered onto it to turn it into a s¹. Another example of the genealogy qʿṣn bn ʿmhm bn ns¹m is found in KRS 120 and ʿmhm bn ns¹m is found in three other safaitic texts (AAWAB 7, HaNSB 171, and KRS 120). Note that the s¹ in s¹nt was incised as two vertical lines which were then joined by a short hammered diagonal. Note the spelling of the divine name rḍh, rather than the usual rḍw or rḍy, is at present unique in Safaitic, but is also found once in Thamudic B (ELHT Al-Muqāyil.3 ThamB 01).
