Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus
King (1990: 237) commented: "Written below the drawing of a camel. There are the remains of one or possibly two letters before the ʿ. There is room between the ʿ and the d for another two letters but nothing is visible. The rock is chipped below the d and it is possible that the letter belonged to another inscription the rest of which has since disappeared".
