Interpretation

Apparatus Criticus
King (1990: 338–339) commented: "The name bnʾb which occurs in the next inscription, KJC 164, is attested frequently at this site and in some instances occurs more than once on a rock surface, see CCCVI, CCCVIII and CCCLV. It is possible that the bns² is an unfinished attempt at writing the name again here. The line read as s² would be the stroke of an incomplete ʾ".
