Interpretation
- Apparatus Criticus
- TRANSLATION ḫṭṭ, King: "[the] inscriber". DISCUSSION King (1990: 374–375) commented: "The second ṭ of ḫṭṭ is written on a vertical surface of the rock. gḥfl is referring to an ibex. The f has only one distinctive hook, cf. the unusual shape of the letter in the same name in KJC 238. For the expression referring to drawings, see Ch.4.B.2".
