Interpretation

King (1990: 398) commented: "The inscription starts under the stomach of an ibex and curves to the left under the hind legs. bn ḥrs¹ bn ʾs¹lm is written vertically down the rock to the left of a camel. ʿrs¹ bn ḥrs¹ bn ʾs¹lm occurs in KJA 112.
