King (1990: 398–399) commented: "The text is written in a cartouche which is lightly hammered in a different technique to that used for the letters. There are two lines with three crossbars attached to it. It is similar to the lines arranged in the form of a ladder found with some Safaitic texts, although, in those examples, seven lines are inscribed and here there are only three (see Winnett and Harding 1978: 26).
