Corbett (2010: 329–330) commented: "The ḏ of the DN is unusual for Thamudic E in that it only has three forks instead of the typical four. It may be a Thamudic C text. Also, the s² of the DN occurs to the left of the text, possibly included once the author had realized his spelling mistake. The inscription occurs to the right of a drawing of an ibex".
