- Apparatus Criticus
- TRANSLATION ḫṭṭ, Corbett: "(he) carved". To take ḫṭṭ as a verb here is too vague in a context where the inscription is in effect a signature to the drawing. DISCUSSION Corbett (2010: 334) commented: "This text, along with text #3, is carved vertically directly below the central oryx drawing (a1). Several letters of PN1 have been effaced although readings can be discerned from character shape and position".
