Translation
By Ṭmṯn son of Qdm son of Tʾs¹ and mtʿ and he grieved for friend after friend and the funerary monument and the carving [are by him]

Interpretation

Commentary
The meaning of mtʿ in this context is unknown. Neither of the meanings suggested in Al-Jallad & Jaworska under mtʿ ("to experience enjoyment" or "to bring away") is appropriate here.
