Interpretation

Commentary
The text runs parallel with AAWHA 29 and is separated from it by a thick direct hammered line The inscription is difficult to interpret, partly because the letters are not very well formed and partly because there appear to be two marks which may not belong to the text. Before the h there is a short line which is more lightly carved than the rest of the letters and we would suggest is extraneous to the text. More difficult to explain are the two dots after the s¹, one of which is presumably also extraneous, though both look intentional. The author forgot the t in the divine name and added to the side of the text. The name qnl has not been found before though qnʾl and qnlh are known.
