Interpretation
- Commentary
- Unlike the drawing, the inscription is carved in very thin and lightly incised letters which become very faint towards the end.
- Associated Drawings
- A male camel with a huge hump and a thick diagonal line on the hump representing the rider holding a rein to the camel's nose. It is possible that an attempt has been made to represent tassels hanging from the saddle (which is not itself represented). The rider's left arm is reaching backwards and down behind the hump where it is extended by a long line reaching to the camel's tail. It is not known what this is meant to represent.
