Interpretation

Commentary: The genealogy up to w{q}r is difficult to read, but is clarified when compared to the genealogies of WH 1782 and ZMQJ 7. The reading of the rest of the inscription following w{q}r is very tentative. {{b}}n: The letter read as a b is a clear w on the stone. It seems possible that the letter was originally a b and was later altered to w. This letter is followed by a long vertical n, the base of which rests on the curving letter which follows it. {r}{ʾ}ṣ: The first letter seems to be a shallow curve, which has been read as a r. The diagonal line which runs to the right from this letter and crosses the following two must be extraneous. The following letter is very difficult to make sense of. It seems to be a similar shallow curve but with a small fork (under the blot) at the top and either a loop or another small fork at the bottom. This could potentially be a ʾ or ṣ. Neither a name of rʾṣ nor rṣṣ has been found before. The two diagonal lines after llt seem to be extraneous.
