Interpretation
- Commentary
- {g}s²n: The first letter is thin, long, seems to have a point at the bottom, and is not clearly enclosed at the top. Whilst this might point to a reading of s¹, a name of s¹s²n would be unlikely. A reading of g has been given under the assumption that the top of the letter is enclosed but is obscured by the circular damage. This seems a likely reading, given that the genealogy wʿd bn gs²n has been found 4 times before, despite gs²n only being attested 20 times previously.
