- s²ʿ{r}: The r looks very much like a curved d upon first inspection. Nevertheless, it is clear in the inverted photograph that the apparent semicircle of the d is the combination of possible damage or a hook at the bottom of the letter and a diagonal line of damage in the middle. The two lines do not join, therefore it is likely that the letter is in fact a r. kl{b}: The b is rather angular and appears very much like a s¹. A name of kls¹ or kns¹ has not yet been discovered, whereas klb is very common. To support this reading one might compare the letter to the b of bn which is somewhat angular, albeit not as angular as this letter. This leads to a tentative reading of klb. The inscription is immediately followed by BES20 252, running as though the two are one continuous inscription.
