Interpretation
- Commentary
- {l}: There seems to be an extraneous vertical line to the right of the lām auctoris. rb{ʿ}: The final ʿ is unclear in the photographs. Nevertheless, there is almost certainly a letter in the space between the b of rb{ʿ} and the b of bn. This could only be a ʿ. {ʾ}lh: The fork at the 'top' of the first letter is faintly visible in the photographs. The 'bottom' of the letter initially appears to have a look (like a ṣ), but the name ṣlh seems much less likely that the common ʾlh. The line that appears to connect the fork at the bottom of the letter seems to be connected to a patch of damaged stone below it. The genealogy ḍf bn rbʿ bn krfs¹ bn ḥy is attested in C 3016.
